The Maud Clock

The Maud Clock was a project born from the idea of a clock that could tell (relatively accurate) time in two different time zones that are 6 hours apart. One side of the hour hand for US Eastern Time and one for Central European Time, which, depending on the time of year, is 6 hours ahead of eastern time.

The project of building the clock was made possible using a lazer cutter to make slice a pattern into sheets of plywood. This made the ply wood bendable, while notches in those bended sheets allowed them to wrap around the outside edge of the clock and slot into the front and back plates.
